WEMPEC at UW-Madison
TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company recently became a sponsor of the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC), a research consortium within the University of Wisconsin-Madison. WEMPEC is the largest power electronics, control, machine and AC drives program in the USA. The faculty at WEMPEC is well recognized for their industrial contributions and leading research.
Additionally, the TWMC R&D Power Electronics group will be presenting a seminar "Medium Voltage Drives" to the faculty and student body on Friday, February 22, 2008 at UW-Madison.
