SUMMARY
Responsible for identifying, acquiring and developing new and existing global customer relationships, determining their service needs, perform strategic market analysis, negotiating multi-million-dollar service agreements, quote and close DC motor armatures, field frames and other components and Marine and specialty sales opportunities.
Manage, train and coordinate Field Service Representatives and perform field service activities for AC Motors, drives and systems and DC motors. Manage warranty service activities on DC Motors, AC Motors, Drives and Systems on behalf of the Service department. This position requires approximately 25% International and domestic travel time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategically acquire new customers, develop long-term customer relationships, and grow sales revenue to achieve 100% of budget for the after-market Service Business Unit
- Collaborate with Service and Engineering teams to create service solutions that meet customer needs.
- Lead, drive and negotiate complicated service proposals, sales and Master Service Agreement contracts, including terms and conditions on a routine basis
- Assemble technical/commercial proposal data for DC and AC motor repair, field service, DC motor replacement components and renewal parts
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to create and deliver technical customer presentations detailing Company service capabilities, predictive & preventative maintenance techniques, and IoT technologies
- Develop product knowledge of all products and services offered by the company
- Provide feedback on competitive pricing and strategy
- Routinely make sales calls on customers
- Be cognizant of antitrust laws and company policies
- Counsel and assist in training other team members
- Develop a proven track record in sales by selling a minimum of 100% of assigned loading
- Prepare field service reports for the Service General Manager
- Establish, implement, review and modify sales plans jointly with TECO-Westinghouse to sell and service assigned customers
- Provide technical assistance to customers in the installation, start-up & commissioning, operation and maintenance of TECO-Westinghouse products
- Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities. Communicate such information to the operating divisions
- Develop and maintain a cooperative and credible working relationship with other TECO-Westinghouse personnel to assure that the customer receives the best possible unified effort and service
- Plans and manages significant marketing programs
- Manage expense allowances to obtain greatest return on investment and submit an expense report by the end of each month
- Support the Total Quality effort by:
- Providing timely, accurate information for quoting and order entry
- Elevating quality issues to the attention of management
- Ensuring that accurate information flows to and from our customers
- Serving on quality action teams as directed by management
- Implement new product/service introductions and programs
- Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence data on customer needs, preferences and buying habits, as well as that of competitive manufacturers
- Prepare sales/budget forecasts and a Commercial Operations Report by the end of each month
- Prepare and update CRM weekly
- Provide necessary reports, surveys and marketing information in a timely manner, as requested by your manager
- Support the efforts of other Sales Representatives by assuming a leadership role by becoming a resource for Sales
SCOPE, PURPOSE AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS:
- Daily contact with customers
- Daily contact with Service Project Administrators, Service Engineering, Field Service Coordinator and Application Specialists
- Daily contact via phone and written correspondence with TECO-Westinghouse marketing personnel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts or Science required. Candidates with equivalent experience in motors, low and medium voltage drives, and systems will be considered.
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a manager role or higher level in motor repair services, including predictive & preventive maintenance. Be recognized as a dominant factor in the marketplace through professional associations, direct customer contact with management at customer locations, able to carry-over those business relationships, associated companies, as well as, civic and governmental agencies.
