• Create/maintain various reports, at the request of the HR Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

• Conduct product design and development following general design guidelines and tools including CAD programs, and developing design methods utilizing established standards.

• Conduct calculations and analysis using closed-form methods, computer applications and fully functional FEA and other simulation tools. Develop calculation tools and computer applications for broad use.
• Support sales department by providing technical input to negotiations of non-standard products based on reference designs.

• Provide engineering and technical support via telephone and e-mail to customers in areas of programming, installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance and repair of AC Drives.
• Interfaces with overseas System Automation Group on quality and product design issues.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role manages custom designed equipment orders or projects as assigned. This includes external and internal communications, both written and verbal, to ensure design, engineering, manufacturing, testing and contractual obligations have been completed, resulting in successful operation, customer satisfaction and prompt payment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are standard performance requirements for this position. This list does not

• Receive, review, organize and coordinate the receipt of all contractual documents, including external client supplied information required for Company acceptance, order entry and design work to begin.

• Determine operating factory where in factory equipment will be engineered, manufactured and tested.
• Follow all procedures defined in the work instructions for sales entry in the operating system(s) to describe and identify equipment ratings, INCO terms, shipping terms, warranty, testing, engineering, sales, finance, 3rd party certifications, customer supplied items, manufacturing, risks and scheduling requirements.
• For external builds: create requisition for purchase, submitting to Business Unit Manager for approval and to Purchasing for purchase order creation. • Verify changes to the scope of supply have been implemented, submitting revised job documents and schedules for external client approval.
• Maintain consistent and open dialogue with external clients, and Company field sales, providing current and relevant information regarding job status to preserve contractual obligations for client satisfaction.
• Submit project schedules to external clients in a timely manner that communicate engineering, manufacturing, in-process and final testing dates for client schedule arrangement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to date job maps and schedules to provide instant feedback when required by either internal or external clients.
• Host clients, client representatives and/or 3rd parties for meetings, inspections, in-process testing and final testing.
• Support the procurement of external client furnished items by providing tag details for proper receipt and storing through TECO-Westinghouse Receiving Department and equipment drawings for inspection by TECO-Westinghouse Quality Assurance Department.
• Attend weekly production meetings with Purchasing and Planning, to maintain awareness of ongoing status of engineering, manufacturing, issues and/or risks that may affect the Company's contractual obligations and financials, and external client requirements.
• Attend weekly departmental staff meeting to review individual job status, communicating external client feedback, manufacturing information, and potential risks to Company financial plan.
• Confirm shipping requirements and addresses, updating operating system(s) when necessary.
• Communicate with Finance Department to release accounts for on-time shipment. Coordinate with external clients and/or their representatives for delivery to required location.

POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinates with freight forwarders, steamship lines, and customs broker to ensure freight and customs are released to move international freight in a timely manner. Arranges FTL & LTL carriers to move domestic freight in a timely and cost effective manner. Coordinates with planning and projects departments to meet scheduled delivery requirements. Maintains accurate and complete records related to freight movements, imports, costs and schedule, to support reporting and analysis by others.

• Arranges transportation of cleared goods from US ports to inland destinations

This individual provides results-driven leadership to Planning groups, and has overall responsibility for material supply and consumption throughout the manufacturing cycle, beginning with scheduling, continuing with requisition, and ending with shipment of finished product. He or she directly or indirectly manages the personnel responsible for requisitioning, scheduling, and directing the flow of material within all manufacturing process at TECO-Westinghouse.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Ensures materials, supplies, and services are available to the production areas in sufficient quantities as needed to support uninterrupted production.
• Manages and directs the functions of the Production Planning Department, including developing and controlling engineering, drafting and manufacturing schedules for all orders with the goal of reducing cycle time.
• Develops and implements subcontracting plans if/when needed to support factory loading.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general direction of the Director of Information Technology, the purpose of this position is to provide technical guidance, and subject matter expert role in implementing, administrating and maintaining services to support TECO-Westinghouse. This person serves as the subject matter expert to others employees in the support of systems operations as well as network and desktop computer support with a focus on Customer Support. This is a Technical level position, and involves substantial responsibility for the overall health, operations, and security of all computer networks and servers on TECO-Westinghouse systems. It is the expectation that this position will be able to plan for and solve the most complex server issues that may face the Company. This position works closely with the IT Network Administrators and Desktop Support Specialists to give those positions assistance in fulfilling their respective responsibilities to keep all computer operations functioning company-wide. Responsibilities also include but not limited to the installation, operations, upgrade, performance, and monitoring of the network and application servers – as well as security camera and building security systems.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, designs, monitors, upgrades and troubleshoots server and storage systems with working knowledge of VCenter/VMWare, physical servers, cloud based systems and network storage and SAN systems such as Dell/EMC/Compellent

• Support VMWare for the enterprise level configurations including understanding of VMWare clusters, VMotion, DRS automation, reporting and related functions
• Designs, supports and monitors server level backups (CA ArcServ/D2D/UDP) and supports disaster recovery procedures

Mod Shop Specialist II

POSITION SUMMARY

Intermediate member of a manufacturing team, specifically assigned to work primarily on modifications to stock motors. Works with minimum direction from the Team Leader or Supervisor. Assists in training and direction of junior team members. Responsible for overall quality of the product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trains/assists team members to build quality products through operation of equipment and manufacturing technique.
• Operates move equipment and makes complex overhead crane lifts.
• Oversees the quality of the product through understanding of the product and processes and insures in-process operator checks are performed and within specification.
• Works in a safe and efficient method while maintaining a clean work area.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Performs quality work and exhibits pride in his/her efforts to manufacture to customer and TECO-Westinghouse standards.
• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
• Compliance with all Company policies is required, including adherence to Company ISO 9001 Standards, Company Affirmative Action Plan and Company Safety procedures.
• Incorporates the Standards of Excellence as outlined by TECO-Westinghouse (Pride, Desire, Teamwork, Attention to Detail and Follow-through) into daily activities in order to create a Total Quality environment through personal commitment to excellence.
• Performs other related additional responsibilities as assigned.

SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS

Has frequent contacts with customers through witness tests and shop tours.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school graduate or equivalent. Above average reading and math skills. Technical school training preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years as a Manufacturing Specialist I or 5 or more years of similar electrical or mechanical experience.
